Decision Point, LLC is a global security consulting company dedicated to purpose-driven protection. A retired Special Agent with the U.S. Department of State’s Diplomatic Security Service (DSS), Stephen brings over 28 years of experience protecting people, infrastructure, and information across 76 countries. He was promoted to the top 3% of DSS.

Throughout his distinguished federal career, Stephen held leadership positions at some of the most complex and high-risk diplomatic posts worldwide, including China, Iraq, Afghanistan, South Africa, and Germany. He directed global threat analysis programs, served as Chief Security Officer in hostile environments, and managed large-scale protective operations involving thousands of security professionals and budgets exceeding $1.5 billion.

Recognized for his strategic thinking and operational excellence, Stephen has led crisis response initiatives, developed international counterterrorism programs, and provided security policy guidance to U.S. Ambassadors and senior government officials. His expertise spans threat assessment, risk mitigation, crisis planning, executive protection, counterterrorism, and counterintelligence.

Stephen holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Washington State University and is LEOSA certified. He is a member of OSAC, ASIS International, and the American Foreign Service Association.

Today, through Decision Point, LLC, he partners with individuals and organizations to navigate complex threat environments, implement smart security solutions, and manage residual risk with confidence and clarity.
